If problems happen Hydro-Sil does help! I purchased whole house heating, I truly saved a lot of money. I had the Hydro-Sil heaters over six years and was given a replacement heater when one wasn't working properly. No other company would have EVER DONE THIS! Not Lowes or Home Depot, certainly not any other heating company. I tried several independent companies first thinking I had the heater so long I would just replace it. Then I found my warranty for the Hydro-Sil heater and called. NO PROBLEM. We own a cabin and plan to put Hydro-Sil heaters in it. Great customer service, Hydro-Sil! -COOKIE L. Hydro-Sil, I cannot begin to tell you how pleased I am with your heaters. In 25 years, this was the first time my electric budget was reduced!  Hydro-Sil was installed in seven rooms. Over 40% savings for 12 months: $53/month X 12 = $636 annual savings I wanted to let you know what a difference Hydro-Sil makes in my house. Over the past several years I have been replacing the electric heaters that were in the house when I bought it. The house was built in 1983 with all electric heat. To replace it with oil heat, my only option, was over $6,000. When I put in a new bathroom the electrician put in a similar heater. When I saw the difference I asked him if he could replace some of the other ones. He said he had no resource to get more so I went on line and found Hydro-Sil. I bought three of them and had two put in the bathrooms and one in one bedroom. It seemed so much warmer that 3 years ago I replaced the two in the family room and the one in my daughter's bedroom. What a huge difference. The other day I had an energy auditor here from the electric company. He said "well at least would feel warmer in here." So I had him look at the thermostat which read 67. Then I said to go in the next room, through the open doorway, and see what he thought. He walked into the family room and said that it was much warmer. I then told him to look at the thermometer in that room and it too was 67. He asked what the difference was and I said Hydro-Sil. I recently ordered the last three that I need, 2 for the living room and 1 for the spare bedroom. I can't wait to feel the difference. We updated our existing standard electric heat, removing 20 electric heaters and replacing them with Hydro-Sil. Wow- what a difference! We received a substantial reduction of our electric bill. Hydro-Sil Vs. Competitors Heater Study - The testing was conducted in a specially designed room within an environmental chamber. The room simulated a small zoned area within a residence and was frame construction with an average insulation value R-13. It featured a double pane window, a door, and paneled walls. The baseboard heater being tested was placed below the window and the controlling thermostat was situated in the airspace near the wall opposite the heater. Preliminary testing indicated that inside and outside room temperatures of 70°F and 18°F, respectively, would result in a heat loss of approximately 500 watts or ½ of the heater output. Therefore, this test condition was used for all tests. |
