Establish a position for the mounting plate at least 4" below the ceiling and at least 6" from a wall. Level the unit and fix the plate firmly to the wall.

Drill a 3" hole in the wall slightly below the plate, and at an angle downward so the condensed water can smoothly flow out. Cut the wall penetrating pipe to proper length and insert plastic pipe.

Connect the refrigerant lines to the indoor unit and run the wiring, drain, and line sets through the hole in the wall. Wrap tightly with provided tape. Hang the indoor unit on the hooks provided on the wall plate.
