The thermostat is only supplying a proportional amount of power to Hydro-Sil heater on an as needed basis for each room: 25%-50% on mild days, 50%-75% on colder days, 75%-100% on coldest days.
No other heating systems have variable output; they're either 100% ON or 100% OFF. This exclusive technology increases energy savings and comfort.
